WCP Player Registration Question

If a player is:

  • Registered with RSA team in 2009/2010 Indoor - no extra fee.
  • Registered with team in SSA district but outside of RSA for 2009-2010 Indoor - $25 (RSA fee).
  • Registered with team in another provincial jurisdiction in Canada, but outside of Saskatchewan - $25 (RSA fee) plus a letter of good standing from the provincial governing body.
  • Not registered with any team (whether living in Regina, elsewhere in Saskatchewan or in another province in Canada) - $55 ($15 SSA fee and $36 RSA fee) plus for those outside of the province, a letter of good standing from the provincial governing body.
  • Managers/Coaches not registered in the indoor 2009/2010 season are $10.50 ($5.50 SSA Fee and $5.00 RSA Fee).
  • Those that need to pay the $41 fee and the team managers can now register online at Regina Soccer. They'll have a receipt emailed to them. I'll post this on our website too. If you could encourage people to register online, that would be great. Our phone is ringing off the hook!
  • Those that are paying the $25 only will need to register in our office or over the phone.

Note: "If any of the above fees change we will let you know" and "the details as to how, when and to whom these fees will be paid will be obtained shortly."

WCP Cup Provincial Letters of Good Standing

"The SSA requires a letter of good standing as assurance that a player does not currently owe money to and association or are not currently suspended from competition for any reason. The SSA assures us that the process of obtaining a letter of good standing (even if simply a printed off emailed response) is a relatively simple and quick process for most provincial associations.
If a player has never been registered with a provincial association, but lives in a jurisdiction outside of Saskatchewan, a letter of good standing is still required. This letter can simply state that the provincial association/or local association has not previously registered the player and do not have any outstanding fee or disciplinary problems with that individual.
